And, that’s a wrap Summer

Summer was in a nutshell–busy!  I am not complaining because I don’t think there was a single day that my kids said they were bored.  But with that busy, well intentioned, helping others kind of summer, the days just went by like the wings on a butterfly.

I am thankful. Thankful that we were able to pour into the lives of our family and friends and help to see them all get settled into their new abodes.  Wow! I didn’t know I still had it in me.  Ha! I did!FkWWzQucTD+AI6xSFJw

In the midst of all these moves, we were able to visit the mountains and the coast.  We packed days and I mean lots of days into Carowinds.

Aren’t you always amazed at how slow the school year goes and then when we have 3 months of care free days they just disappear like a mist? Today, we finished day 3 of our new school year. This is the beginning  of our 14th year of Homeschooling.  I am shocked and overjoyed.  When we began this journey all those years ago, it was just a test.  You know when you begin something that’s so foreign that you have no idea if you’ll make it that first year but, with great determination you do. Not only did we finish that first year but, we just kept on going.

So, here we are. Back on a schedule. Working on the next 180 days.  My goal is to be on a schedule that will allow me to have me time.  Time to create, time to build and time to rest.KmngCpqeT2yo5eq8KQXf+g

Do you have hobbies or a passion that has been pushed to the back of the line?  Do you like to be on a schedule or just fly by the seat of your pants?
